South Fayette Takedown Club Youth Wrestling

BY-LAWS

ARTICLE 1: GENERAL INFORMATION

Section 1
All officers shall be elected by a written ballot every other year at the last meeting of the season and will assume office after the last function of the year.

Section 2
To be eligible to vote for officers, members will be required to attend two scheduled meetings prior to election.

Section 3
Each elected officer position will be for a two year term. No officer can be elected to the same position for more than 2 terms unless he or she is unopposed.

Section 4
Each member of the Executive Committee will have an equal vote in all matters. In the event that one of the members is not present at a meeting and a tie vote results, the top ranking executive present will break the tie.

Section 5
There can only be one family member as an officer at any time. This "family Member" also includes a boyfriend, girlfriend, or significant other.

Section 6
All club checks must be signed by two officers.

Section 7
In the event that the club members feel that an officer or coach is not serving in the best interest of the wrestlers and the club, a vote can be called to remove him/her from office. If three-fourths of the membership approves, the officer or coach shall be removed.

Section 8
Any money being spent for club purposes must be approved by 2 officers.

Section 9
Any contracts cannot be signed unless it has been brought to the officer’s attention and must be signed by at least 2 officers.

Section 10
Any wrestler who qualifies and participates in the Pennsylvania State Tournament will receive $100.00 for expenses from the club..

Section 11
A WAWA representative will be appointed by the Executive Committee prior to the wrestling season to handle all league voting issues for South Fayette. In his/her absence, he will assign a responsible substitute to vote on his/her behalf. It will be the responsibility of the WAWA representative to give a brief report regarding previous WAWA meetings and voting decisions at each South Fayette Take Down Club meeting, as well as how he/she voted on these issues.
