Noteworthy: Tyler, a wrestler for the South Fayette Take Down Club, has teamed with 1996 Olympic gold medalist and current WWF superstar Kurt Angle on Angle's fan club Web site, www.kurtanglewwf.com, to foster youth interest in the sport of wrestling. Tyler met Angle when his father, a professional photographer, photographed Angle for a product promotion. Tyler has a newsletter, "Tyler's New Angle on Wrestling," in the "Wrestling with Tyler" section of the site. Each week he enters information and photos on his most recent wrestling matches. He will participate for the first time in the Amateur Athletic Union's Tournament of Champions on April 27 in Columbus, Ohio.
